Scott Fairgrieve is the Vice President of Finance and Accounting for AECOM Civil Construction. Scott oversees all the financial and administrative affairs of the company including information technology, human resources, and risk management.
Scott joined the Shimmick Construction team in 1996. Prior to that, he was Controller of RGW Construction, Inc., and an Audit and Consulting Manager in the Construction Industry Group of Moss Adams, LLP, a regional CPA firm. It was during his tenure at Moss Adams that Scott first became associated with Shimmick Construction, having the privilege of auditing the Company’s first financial statements in March of 1990.
In 1986, Scott received his Bachelor’s Degree from California State University at Chico. Additionally, he has a Graduate Certificate in Construction Management from San Francisco State University. He holds the professional designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP).
Scott is active in various industry associations and serves on the national Heavy/Highway Committee of the Construction Financial Management Association.
