Experienced Engineer/Superintendent
Engineer - Experienced (5-7 Years)Salary: DOE

Shimmick takes on challenging projects and performs high-quality work ranging from expanding/constructing water treatment plants to building a BART station to retrofitting the Golden Gate Bridge. This position demands an energetic and dedicated person who thrives on taking ownership and pride in their work. It is hands on and technically challenging. The duties involve being the direct liaisons between the field crews/activities, subcontractors, engineers and management. Superintendents’ careers are developed so that they ultimately posses extensive knowledge of all construction activities, have the ability to supervise and delegate responsibilities to crew members, deal with all aspects of subcontractor scheduling, and are computer literate so that completion of all electronic forms, reports and documentation that they are responsible for are completed accurately. Additionally, experienced and successful superintendents also estimate work and should become Project Managers. Minimum Requirements:
EXPERIENCED ENGINEER/SUPERINTENDENT We are seeking an engineer with 5-15 years of experience in heavy civil, highway, major structures and grading. Water Treatment Plant experience is a plus.
