Andy Sloane, executive vice president of the Southwest and Specialty Divisions, has 31 years of construction experience, primarily in major transportation and infrastructure projects. Andy is responsible for the overall performance of the Southwest Division, MEP Division, Equipment Division, and Legacy Foundations. Andy has been instrumental in strategic partnering with potential contractors and designers, especially for design-build pursuits.
Andy joined the Shimmick team in 1996 and, during his tenure, he has had extensive experience in estimating and project management. He was the project manager of the $173 million LA Metro Design/Build Orange Line project, project manager of the $206 million MWD Robert A. Skinner Ozone Retrofit project, and project sponsor of the $190 million MWD Robert Diemer Ozone Retrofit project.
Andy received his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a registered professional engineer in California.
