Kevin McLaughlin, senior vice president of the National Division, has 35 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry, starting with Morrison Knudsen, a Shimmick legacy company. Kevin provides operational oversight for all National Division projects and executes the division’s strategic plan through pursuit and partner selection. He has extensive experience in all aspects of the construction industry, having progressed systematically from entry level engineering through project controls, field engineering, estimating, contracts, engineering manager, and project manager.
He has worked on major infrastructure construction projects including highways, dams, and hydroelectric plants, most recently serving as project director and executive sponsor of the $1.8 billion Olmsted Dam project for USACE. Kevin has managed numerous large projects, including the combined $572 million E-470 Toll Road (Segments II, II, and IV) project and the $368 million SR-125 Gap Connector and Toll Road project. He is highly skilled in all elements of subcontractor coordination and oversight. He has completed assignments for public and private clients and has cost-plus and fixed-price contract delivery experience.
Kevin has a Bachelor of Science degree in geological engineering from the University of Idaho.
