Shimmick rehabilitated existing, as well as constructed new elements, of this water treatment plant, increasing the operational flexibility of the Plant No.2 facility. Shimmick performed rehabilitation work at seven existing pump stations and 14 primary clarifiers.
The rehabilitated facilities were tied into a new sludge blending facility and associated electrical building, which in turn feed into the existing digester farm. Shimmick also self-performed the electrical scope of work for this project.
