Ken Tanner

Ken Tanner is a seasoned operations executive with more than 28 years of experience delivering complex infrastructure programs across North America. As Senior Vice President of Shimmick’s Mission Critical Division, he leads the company’s strategic growth and project delivery efforts across mission-critical markets, including data centers, healthcare facilities, manufacturing, biotechnology, mining, defense, and other highly technical environments where execution certainty, speed, and specialized expertise are essential.

Throughout his career, Mr. Tanner has delivered large-scale transportation, energy, industrial, and mining infrastructure programs and led multidisciplinary teams on some of the industry’s most complex projects. His experience includes collaborative delivery models, P3s, design-build execution, risk management, and operational leadership, with a consistent record of delivering successful outcomes in technically demanding environments.

Mr. Tanner holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan.
