This $153 Million (AUD) EPCM project included new mine infrastructure, mine facilities and process facilities to deliver 16 million-tonne-per-annum of iron ore. Via its legacy companies, Shimmick delivered mine development services including site preparation, topsoil removal and stockpiling, haul road and ramp construction, waste dump development and pre-stripping. Additional work included product storage and export infrastructure, buildings, and facilities, waste fines management and water management.
