On this day 19 years ago, we suffered devastating attacks that changed not only our country, but the world. Closer to home, our team lost 13 colleagues from Washington Group International on that day.
WGI is one of many legacy companies that now make up the unbreakable foundation of Shimmick. Many of our Shimmick team members started their careers with WGI and remember our colleagues fondly.
I would like to take this moment to reflect on our history and acknowledge the sacrifice of many as we honor them today.
