P2-123 Return Activated Sludge Piping Replacement

Shimmick is removing and replacing approximately 1,400 linear feet of the deteriorated Returned Activated Sludge piping, valves, valve actuators and associated wiring, flexible couplings, and pipe supports; and installing twelve new 14-inch isolation valves.

Additionally, Shimmick is performing concrete repairs through full penetration cracking by drilling through the defect, and injecting expanding polyurethane to fill the voids. Additional work includes replacing existing light poles at the activated sludge basin and secondary clarifiers.
